You will always feel more invigorated in an always changing outdoor evironment than you will staying indoors, even when it rains. Losing weight and getting into shape happens faster outdoors than it will in a gym and you'll have more fun while you workout. Run, jump, stretch, and lift weights under an oak tree or open skies instead of strapping yourself into a machine at the gym.
